Black River Safari:
Discover the beauty of the South Coast with a 1/12 hour boat tour on Jamaica’s largest navigable river and through the islands largest wetland area, the Black River lower morass. The tour takes you six miles up the river during which a running commentary is given by your captain/ tour guide on both the ecology and history of the area. Over 100 species of birds have been recorded in the Black River morass. The endangered American Crocodile (c.actus) inhabits the area and sightings are very frequent. Negril Lighthouse:
The Lighthouse is situated at south Negril Point which is at the extreme western end of the Island. The concrete Tower painted in white, stands 66 feet above ground level and the light is elevated 100 feet above sea level. The Lighthouse has an automatic white light which flashes every two seconds and the entire lighthouse is powered by solar energy. Built before the turn of the last century, the Negril Lighthouse has served the people of Jamaica since 1895. The Lighthouse was built on a tank 14 feet deep, which is kept filled with water to keep the Tower balanced and secured in the event of an earthquake. This historic Negril landmark still guides ships safely around Jamaica’s western edge and is a must see while in Negril.
Rhodes Hall Plantation:
Rhodes Hall Plantation has over 550 lush acres located just 5 miles before Negril. The terrain covers all that Jamaica has to offer; from beaches to coral coastline, to mountaintops affording excellent views all the way to Negril. The lush tropical jungles feature impressive stands of ancient bamboo and numerous types of trees and other rainforest vegetation creating a bird watchers paradise. Horseback riding is a feature of this working plantation which has fruits and vegetables in continuous cultivation. Fish are raised in ponds fed by the natural mineral spring which also provides the freshwater requirements for the entire property.

YS Falls:
YS Falls is a natural attraction nestled in the foothills of the Cockpit Country in St. Elizabeth. Come and enjoy an intimate experience with a spectacular 7-tiered waterfall, surrounded by lush vegetation. Ride on a tractor-drawn Jitney through a working farm to the Falls. Swim in the Falls or in a spring fed pool. Fly through the air on the canopy, offered by Chukka Caribbean Adventures, Tube the river (conditions permitting). Or simply relax on the lawn listening to the sound of cascading water. This tour is included with Appleton Estate and Black River Safari tours.
